Mickey's Monkey, An Instrumental

One of the best oldies ever is Mickey's Monkey by Smokey Robinson and The Miracles. It's about a guy named Mickey who comes from out of town, and he's got this dance he does called The Monkey.  Before you know it, the dance becomes the new teenage craze and everybody's doing it.  Then Smokey asks us to do the dance, he says, "Come on and do Mickey's Monkey, children."

I always thought he was saying, "Just me and Mickey and his monkey-children."

This is an instrumental cover by some other band. I ripped it years ago and can't find the record now, so I don't know who did it. Part Two of my Three-Part soul song special today.
