  1. Whenever I pay someone to prepare my meals, my main concerns are, where I can park my hooptie and whether or not I can wear a tank top to the establishment. The food and service is whatevs.

-Also, where can I buy a plastic seagull? Like seriously. I am looking for a life sized plastic seagull. I found one on Etsy, but it was an artisanal, handmade, vintage, paper mache jumpoff.

    1. Etsy is weird like that, Pecos. Often you think you've found something and then there it is being some craftperson's handiwork. When I go to the Brooklyn Flea, part of it is more of an Etsy row, as opposed to the hardcore junk-dealers, and I always find it sort of embarrassing, because I don't want to stop, but sometimes the stuff seems nice, or at least well-made... but then you know that the people made these things themselves, mostly by hand, and it's sweet and nice -- but sad nevertheless.

I like paper mache as much as the next guy, but you can't beat factory molded plastic. Maybe with a some spraypaint on it, done like shit from someone on an assembly line? You can't fake that.
