Dominican Style Chicharrons

Effy sets up at the entrance to Flushing Meadow Park, near the zoo, around dinner-time.
Parents with kids who play little league, the after-work soccer leagues, and the West Indian Cricket players
all eat here.  There's some kind of competition going between the cuisines of
Mexico, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Ecuador, and Cuba, but everyone is all together sitting on
beach chairs and laughing. So it's competitive, but it's nice.
That's Effy's son back there, with his hair ironed.

Pork with the skin.

Effy's Mom wouldn't look at me or actually pose, but she wanted me to stay around because it
was good for business.
