Dag Hammarskjold

I passed this place as a kid when I would go to work with my father, back when he managed the
lounge and recreation area for the Plaza 400 building on East 56th Street.  I would ask my dad
who Dag was and my Dad would say he was a famous singer in Sweden, like their Frank Sinatra.

By the time I was 7, I already knew that a lot of the crap that came out of my father's mouth was a lie.
Well, it was more of a joke, but still counts as a lie, especially because he never really admitted to the
lie, even when you busted him.  He'd just shrug his shoulders and say, "Have it your way."

That's the tower to the left.  One Dag Hammarskold Plaza is the one to the right.

  1. Jokes, hyperbole, and debatable truths are NOT lies and should not be counted as such. They just havent been around long enough to become real.

-I had this same conversation with a lawyer that was grilling me on the witness stand. He said I was lying through omission! What does that even mean? It's his job to question me, not my job to spill my guts.
