People in My Neighborhood: Quaneisha

Quaneisha and her friends go to school near the old Carvel in Ridgewood, Queens. Even though it's a little bit of a ride to get there, and they have a "B" food-cleanliness grade in their window, I don't care - it's an old spot and there are usually crazy people hanging out in there.  Plus, Carvel Cartwheels are the Cadillac of ice cream sandwiches.  Some go Chipwich, but a Cartwheel is just so classy.

Props to Quaneisha's denim vest and that stance.

Even though Carvel ice cream is the same all across the country, I'm pretty sure this is the only one in New York that still has a metal cone on top.

Quaneisha is a great model and has awesome style. Her friend back there in the yellow shirt
was too shy to pose with me, but she took the photo of me and Quaneisha on top.
Her photography skills are on point.  The girl in the basketball shorts was drinking
a strawberry shake.  When I told them that I was gonna put the photos on my website,

they were like, "Oh so you're like famous?"  I said, "No, but I've been to Japan."
They just looked at each other, then bust out laughing.  They told me they liked my shorts.

Everyone knows Baskin Robbins is 31 Flavors, but this Carvel's got 36.
